When you or your heirs sell your business the contracts are a very important consideration for the buyer. When we are doing due diligence for a loan or advising a dealer on sound business practices Kirschenbaum contracts pass the test with flying colors. PERIOD. Why would a dealer not use them? Jim Wooster Sr alarmfunding.com jtwooster@alarmfunding.com cell 917 747 5379 ************************* Response ************************* Thanks for the vote of confidence. Over the half the alarm companies in the US have ordered Kirschenbaum Contracts TM and I suspect another 30% have "borrowed" copies that are either home-made or plagiarized by local attorneys. The Another 15% use contracts very similar and 5% don’t use contracts at all [or what would pass for an alarm contract]. These percentages are my best estimates, not based on any polling. The first standardize alarm contracts drafted by me and offered at "mass market" pricing was 1980. These were photocopied commercial leases. Then came the residential forms; then state specific forms started, still on photocopied paper. It's been many years since K&K has created many contracts used by the alarm, security, fire and low voltage integration businesses. These contracts are continuously updated based on our client feedback, change in technology and change in law. The Kirschenbaum Contracts TM are recommended, exclusively, by central stations, insurance companies, manufacturers, dealer programs, lenders, and recognized leaders in the industry. I'd like to think it's because of a reputation that's well deserved. To answer your question why a dealer would use any other contract, I can only surmise that the saying "trying to knock a square peg into a round hole" must describe some people. ******************** STANDARD FORM AGREEMENTS: To order up to date Standard Form Alarm / Security / Fire and related Agreements click here: www.alarmcontracts.com *************************** CONCIERGE LAWYER SERVICE PROGRAM FOR THE ALARM INDUSTRY - You can check out the program and sign up here: https://www.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/concierge or contact our Program Coordinator Stacy Spector, Esq at 516 747 6700 x 304. *********************** WEBINARS: https://www.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/alarm-webinars *********************** ALARM ARTICLES: You can always read our Articles on our website at www.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/alarm-articles updated daily ******************** Wondering how much your alarm company is worth?
