Time to consider electronic contracts with your operating software

Ken,
As I believe you know, we are a security industry ERP (CRM, operations, accounting, etc.) provider.
Many of our customers currently utilize K&K agreements, and we are in the process of integrating e-signing into our platform.

Electronic contracts solve one of the bigger issues regarding the alarm contracts, the length of the contract.  Lots of our clients start the conversation with “how many pages” is the contract.  Most of the time I can’t really give a precise answer because there are so many different contract forms and they all vary in length because of required provisions, layout or font.  The one thing all the contracts have in common is that they all contain the essential terms they should contain to protect your interests and butt.  Though some provisions can be removed without damaging the integrity of the contract removing these provisions will not significantly affect the number of pages.
But here’s what will, changing to electronic contracts; then it doesn’t matter how “long” the contract is because it’s presented and executed as a single one page document.  The forms actually number of pages won’t matter until it’s printed out, if it’s every printed out, because it doesn’t have to be printed.
The length of the contract shouldn’t matter if you appreciate that the contract should contain certain provisions, and they do.
Integrating the contracts with your operating software makes sense.  We’ve seen a few articles on operation software companies that haven’t been favorable.  That company isn’t on The Alarm Exchange.  Fieldhub is.  That matters because you can assume that at the very least Fieldhub will be attentive to any issues you may have and cooperate as best possible, or risk being tossed off The Alarm Exchange.
So if you need business software or want to look into a program that will also cover electronic contracts, give Miles a call or email or check out the other companies listed on The Alarm Exchange under the category Technology and Services that increase or preserve your RMR, notably WeSuites and WorkhorseSCS.
