There are some special circumstances. This vendor is not doing one job, they are doing many jobs for the same client and we need to make sure we are covered. Maria ******************** Response ******************** The Standard Subcontract Agreement comes in two forms, one if you're hiring subs and the other if you are the sub and get to send your contract to the hiring company. These forms are FORMS and do not have the details of jobs. Details have to be added. Special issues have to be added. If you have thought of special issues then simply write them out in the contract. For subs doing multiple jobs, for the same customer or different customers, the Rider To Agreement With Subcontractor should be used. Many times you won't get to use your K&K Subcontract because the GC or Owner will present you with its Subcontract Agreement, in the case of the GC, or Vendor Agreement, in the case of the Owner [you may not be a subcontractor in that case but a direct contractor for the Owner, but same consideration discussed here apply]. When presented with someone else's contract form you'd be wise to read it carefully and get legal counsel for anything you don't understand and some of the legal provisions that may have implications you haven't considered. This is a perfect opportunity to use the free half hour you get each month in the Concierge Program for contract review, advise and negotiations. ************************ STANDARD FORM AGREEMENTS: To order up to date Standard Form Alarm / Security / Fire and related Agreements click here: www.alarmcontracts.com *************************** CONCIERGE LAWYER SERVICE PROGRAM FOR THE ALARM INDUSTRY - You can check out the program and sign up here: https://www.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/concierge or contact our Program Coordinator Stacy Spector, Esq at 516 747 6700 x 304. *********************** WEBINARS: https://www.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/alarm-webinars *********************** ALARM ARTICLES: You can always read our Articles on our website at www.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/alarm-articles updated daily ******************** Wondering how much your alarm company is worth?
