Panic alarm concerns

*********************

Ken

We have an educational facility that wants a local panic alarm. They have six offices and a waiting area. They would like a panic button in each office to alert the other offices that there is a problem. We have your all-in-on commercial contract. Is this covered? Anything else I

should be careful of?

Thanks,

Dan

The Commercial All in One covers all security systems and equipment - except fire. You can use it for panic alarms. You will be describing the equipment and services in the Schedule of Equipment and Services. That's where you will indicate that the panic signal is to go to the other offices. I don't know if there is going to be any central station monitoring, but if there is then the contract will obviously indicate that as well. You might want to describe how the central station will respond to signals so that everyone's expectations are on the same page. Also be sure to use the Disclaimer Notice - there's always more equipment and services that can be added.

Ken

Here is some interesting information on prevailing rates for Fire Alarm System Testing and Inspection for all to read, posted, comment on and release to the industry for all to see (Instant Access). All comments are welcome and I dare you to respond! There are no paid holiday rates but overtime applies.

more on CO sensors

Ken:

HOLY CO SENSOR!!!

I am wondering where we as a company are able to obtain a CO test device to be used when our technicians go on a call to a residence? Especially since the heating season will be shortly upon us!
