ProActiveGPS is a new technology developed by Linked24.com. The technology allows security companies to protect their customers and loved ones while away from their monitored property, while adding an additional $5.00 -$10.00 of new RMR
The new technology consists of 2 parts:
1) The Linked24 App which resides on a customer’s smartphone(s).
2) The Linked24 Cloud Server.
The Linked24 App runs in the background of the customers’ smartphone (s). The device will upload the phones GPS co-ordinates through any available data connection via a secure API to the Linked24 server. The server analyzes the uploaded GPS coordinates for pre-determined Presence or Non-Presence scheduled parameters for that device.
What does that mean? Linked24 powered security companies can now automatically notify their customer (for example) that their child has not arrived at school within 30 minutes of class starting. Their teenage daughter is at the mall during school hours or worse at her boy friends house! Notifications are in the form of text or email messages so no central station resources are used.
Customers can also see the current location of the device when logged into the Linked24 system.
After communications, security and safety are the most important functions of a smart phone to parents.
The Business Model
Linked24 has ample evidence of the large demand for this solution, and the security provider is a logical source for it. We suggest that dealers add Linked24 to their services at an additional $5-10.00 per month for an independent company or $60 - $100.00 per year if in a dealer program. These amounts are per family not per device. The App is free on each of the App Stores, the account is what the customer is paying for. Dealer margin is 100% for the first year and roughly 90% there after.
An important part of Linked24 to a dealer’s revenue growth is the social feature of the technology. Although we in the security industry naturally think security, the world thinks socially. Are you thinking why would anyone want others to know when they are at a common interest/location? Then you either don’t have teenagers or are not on Facebook! (People like to share info with their friends/community). Linked24 tracks viral growth via the email notification back to the originating dealer and thus Viral Reoccurring Revenue!!
So as your direct revenue grows, a passive revenue grows with it!
