And we really want to get away from paper forms. We are aware of Docusign and Adobe. What platform are most of your clients using for Electronic Signatures? Rod ************************ Response ************************ I've never conducted a survey but I know many clients use electronic format for the contracts. It's a good idea. The contracts require so many provisions they are lengthy and wordy. Rather than count the pages it's much easier to present the contract in electronic format; it's one page though multiple signatures are required. Once fully signed the electronic documents are available to the subscriber. At that point it won't matter how many pages they are. The three day notice of cancellation is also easier because the cancellation form is part of the electronic package; only one copy is required. Keep in mind that when using electronic contracts for residential consumers you do have to add an additional document, Disclosure and Consent to Electronic Communication. You can order that form on the K&K contract form website or perhaps get it from the company offering the electronic service. There are a number of companies offering electronic contracts as part of their software package and they are listed on The Alarm Exchange in the category Technology and Services that increase or preserve your RMR. Start your search with them. Anyone with some good or bad to say about the electronic services, please let us know. ********************** STANDARD FORMS Alarm / Security / Fire and related Agreements. click here: www.alarmcontracts.com *************************** CONCIERGE LAWYER SERVICE PROGRAM FOR THE ALARM INDUSTRY - You can check out the program and sign up here: https://www.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/concierge or contact our Program Coordinator Stacy Spector, Esq at 516 747 6700 x 304. *********************** ALARM ARTICLES: You can always read our Articles on our website at ww.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/alarm-articles updated daily ******************** THE ALARM EXCHANGE - the alarm industries leading classified and business exchange - updated daily ************************* Wondering how much your alarm company is worth?
