With Missouri now 'allowing' Marijuana, it has brought it to a new level. When we have individuals show up for the interview with their 'get out of jail free drug card' and are astonished when we state 'sorry, the Federal has a 100% drug free environment and we do work for the Federal' they stare back in disbelief! What the politicians don't realize, or even care, is how destructive the new 'marijuana' is to the human brain with the higher levels of chemicals through the breeding scheme that is done. Our insurance broker insures several 'canabis houses' and in chatting with the owners of those cannabis houses, he discovers the owners imagine the life span of their business will be 5-10 years as at that time the lawsuits for brain damaged individuals will begin to pile up and then they will need to dissolve those entities and get out of business. THEN, with the PRICE of drugs, somehow those individuals have to get MONEY and if they can't get it one way, they will get it another! Imagine a Central Station operator 'delaying' dispatch on a burglar alarm due to them being coerced as being a way to 'pay off' their drug debt! / a similar type of occurrence actually occurred at another Central Station where the employee approached the supervisor and stated, 'you need to fire me as the mob wanted me to not promptly dispatch at xyz premise and threatened me with telling they know where I live and my wife works at'. NOT A PROBLEM, the supervisor stated, tomorrow morning you are coming in and begin training as an installer!. Finally, where this JoeBloviation is going....... I was on a quotation at a large facility and when I explained our hiring process included an individual who operates a polygraph to ensure we don't have individuals that have been trained by the gangs to infiltrate my company; the Manager stated this infiltration actually occurred at the Chicago location he was the Manager at, where close to 60% of the individuals were now hooked on drugs (started with Marijuana and worked it's way up to the heavier stuff) due to the gangs sending in someone to begin giving away and then selling drugs - employees were then having to steal and sell merchandise to pay for their habit. So, that is what we are now running into in the real world.......... Respectfully, Joseph (Joe) Pfefer, President & Founder Jade Alarm Co. ********************* Response ********************* It's frustrating finding employees in just about all industries.
