Ken,

We are in the same boat with management software. I appreciate the work being done by Skybank Financial [www.skybankfinancial.com]  with the Quickbooks integration, however has anyone ever had to contact Quickbooks for support…..ITS HORRIBLE! Even if a “proper” version of Quickbooks was made for the alarm industry, I wouldn’t buy it due to the fact of when something went wrong I would get the typical run around from QB. Unless we would have a contact at QB for our issues. Their typical tech support is bad, and generally on the other side of the world. Keep it in America. My 2 cents.

How about alarm software that doesn't break the bank.  Some hands on classes for Quickbooks on how to apply it to the alarm industries.  We have done some research on classes there are none for hands on dummies.

There are some acct firms that will set it up but for a deep pocket price.   I know you can do it Ken

Ken,

Thank you once again for proving us your daily forum.  I enjoy reading it every day.  I’m writing in regards to software advice. For the past 21 years, all I’ve done is provide software solutions to security companies, prior to that spent nearly 10 years working at and operating a family owned alarm company.  So I’ve seen it from both sides and know the security industry very well.  That’s why we have created two distinct software solutions for security companies, SedonaOffice and AlarmBiller.  SedonaOffice has been on the market for over 13 years now, and is by far the leading software solution for mid to large security organizations.  SedonaOffice is an enterprise-level solution that incorporates nearly everything a security companies needs to run and operate their business.  For small to mid size companies, we created AlarmBiller to fill a void in the marketplace.  We have received thousands of inquiries over the past 10 years from companies not yet ready to implement SedonaOffice, so we developed AlarmBiller specifically to help them out.  We used our knowledge of the industry, and experience working with hundreds of the leading security organizations throughout North America and created the most robust, easy to use, powerful software solution for smaller companies, ideal for companies with 1 to 2,000 accounts (although their are no limits).  AlarmBiller incorporates everything necessary to manage your customer base, including accounts receivable, recurring invoicing, RMR attrition tracking, automated email or mail delivery of invoices, complete integrated credit card and eCheck processing, work order management, appointment scheduling, parts tracking at a system level, proposal and quoting, extensive reporting and a lot more.  AlarmBiller also easily interfaces with QuickBooks.  For more information visit www.alarmbiller.com and sign up for a two month no obligation free trial.  To learn more about SedonaOffice visit www.sedonaoffice.com.
