It's time. I no longer wish to take my call schedule and I have a new offer. Can I email my Chief I am giving notice?

How you provide notice is typically dictated by contract. We would have to review your employment agreement to ensure you are following contractual notice requirements. Oftentimes notice by mail or personal delivery is required, and email is not an authorized modality. Share your agreement and we'll be happy to check. If not provided as a proper notice tool, on future contracts, we recommend including email as sufficient notice, or email paired with mailing, if there is push back....
