Now that new years has passed and most of us have forgotten most if not all

of the resolutions we made, here is your xmas wish list for 2007. Let's see

12 months from now how many hit home.

It's December 25, 2007, and

I wish I had finally decided to get errors and omissions insurance. That

law suit against me is draining my finances and keeping me up every night

with worry.

I wish I had gotten that former employee to sign an employment contract, in

fact all my employees. But the one that left and is calling and taking my

accounts is really bothering me.

I wish I had all my monitoring accounts coming in on my line, and not my

central station's line. I'm thinking about changing centrals or selling and

now I have to reprogram all 500, 1000 or 2000 of my accounts; that's going

to take a long time.

I wish I had purchased proper contracts. I am having a hell of a time

finding anyone interested in buying my accounts without contracts or old

contracts for top dollar.

I wish I still wasn't doing business in my own name. I should have started

a corporation before that subscriber law suit for the burglary loss was

started and then IRS notified me that they wanted to audit me personally.

I wish I made sure my contracts complied with the licensing agency and

consumer affairs; they are really busting my chops now.

I wish I had gotten my alarm license, maybe that police car outside my home

with the flashing lights wouldn't be there.

I wish I sold more service contracts, CCTV central station video monitoring

contracts and Fire Inspection contracts. My recurring revenue didn't go up

enough this year.

I wish I hadn't told Ken to take me off his email list and had read more of

those damn emails, maybe I'd be in better shape.
