 Ken

I want to ask if anyone knows of any finance companies for residential customers. Thank you! I am located in Illinois so it would have to be a nationwide company.  .I’m looking for residential security system financing.

Thank you for your help.

I've put considerable effort into creating and circulating The Alarm Exchange, which is the perfect resource tool for your question.  There are two ways to access The Alarm Exchange.  The web  page is updated as posts are requested, so it is the most up to date.  You access the web page here:

The daily emails that go out every day except Sunday also include The Alarm Exchange after the main article, webinar announcements and speaking engagements.  Since the email articles are prepared and scheduled a week or more in advance the posts will not include the most up to date listings.  You will find that the Parts Wanted or For Sale and Help Wanted categories are frequently updated.  The Central Station listings, Insurance Brokers, Business     Consultants and other categories tend to be static, though I do add to those categories if the posting is approved.

One of the categories is FInancial Services.  Here you will find a listing of those companies that provide financing and other financial services to the security industry.  As with others listed on The Alarm Exchange these companies specialize in the alarm industry and provide superior service.  Those that don't either don't get on The Alarm Exchange or get removed.  Other companies undoubtly have decided not to ask for a posting and therefore no adverse inference should be drawn if someone you're doing business with is not on The Alarm Exchange -- though I encourage you to use those who are posted here.  You have the added advantage of claiming to me for intervention should you have a less than positive experience with someone with a posting.

To get back on track, one of the companies listed under Financial Services will offer residential financing.  Try not to sell your RMR accounts.  Borrow against the collateral if necessary but try and retain the customer and the residual RMR once you pay back your loan with interest.  By retaining your RMR accounts you will have more at the end of the day than a paid off Note.

BTY, anyone have experience with one of the lenders in the Financial Services category and wish to share that experience?  Let me know.
