Change your spam controls and white list ken@kirschenbaumesq.com ****************************** electronic contract execution procedure / CA 5 day notice for seniors July 30, 2021 **************************** electronic contract execution procedure **************************** Ken, We use DocuSign and it requires a list of recipients in an order for signing the agreement. We set up the Sales Rep as signer #1, subscriber as signer #2, and an “approver” as signer #3. The “approver” completes, among other things, the cancellation date based on the date stamp from singer #2, the subscriber. This may alleviate the issue JM is having. Once, signer 1, 2, and 3 are complete, everyone gets a copy of the agreement. Thanks, Anonymous ************************* Response ************************* Seems reasonable though I am not clear why the contract dates can't populate themselves, which might avoid error. Make sure you are using Disclosure and Consent for Electronic Communication. Docusign may provide that form but if not and you want one that's a bit more alarm industry specific, get the Disclosure and Consent for Electronic Communication form and be sure it's the first document that the subscriber has to approve by signing. ************************* CA 5 day notice for seniors ************************* Ken, Regarding the 3 day notice, California just went to 5 day notice for seniors. Robert Few, President General Monitoring Services ************************** Response ************************** Thanks; I reported on this when the law went into effect and we did change the CA residential contracts. *************************** To order up to dateStandard Form Alarm / Security / Fire and related Agreements, click here: www.alarmcontracts.com ************************* CONCIERGE LAWYER SERVICE PROGRAM FOR THE ALARM INDUSTRY You can check out the program and sign up here: https://www.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/concierge or contact our Program Coordinator Stacy Spector, Esq at 516 747 6700 x 304. *********************** NOTICE: You can always read our Articles on our website at ww.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/alarm-articles *********************** THE ALARM EXCHANGE
