Does Fire All in One work for CAD drawings only
***********************
Ken,
We have a contractor that is buying parts from us and we will just do the CAD Drawings and testing. Should we do a regular Fire All in One contract for them or use something else?  He did sign a proposal.
Thank you,
 Joy

You can use the Fire All in One indicating your scope of performance, which will be limited to the CAD drawings.  You can use the proposal as a Schedule of Services.

Valuation of alarm business
***********************
Ken,
I have been provided with an opportunity to purchase an alarm company within our local territory. I have a NDA with the company and they have provided me with their past three years on financial statements. I have established a purchase price that is far less than the offer price.
I would like assistance in the pre-sale valuation and since we use your contracts and have read many posts from your company, your guidance looks to fit best.
Thanks,
Zach

The fastest and least expensive alarm company valuation can be found at https://www.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/what-is-my-alarm-company-worth
We offer 4 levels from $80 to $950 for standard valuations and a custom option if you require something beyond the standardized valuation.
However, if you have decided on the price you will offer and you know that the seller isn’t interested in that price, you may not want to invest in a valuation, unless you or the seller are willing to bend.

Ken
We have a job that was almost complete (I believe the monitoring had already been hooked up), but our customer has disappeared. According to what we are being told, the customer turned the property back over to the original owner and left.  No one can get ahold of him.
We’re in contact with the new owner, but we’re not sure, legally, what we need to do with the old customer.  We could send a certified letter, but we know it will just come back.  What’s the best option for us? And if we do have to send a certified letter, do we have to wait a certain amount of time? I think we’re working to get the new owner under contract.

Don’t waste your money on certified mail.  You can send communication by any means, email or mail, that the contract is terminated. Then go with the new owner.  If you want to be overly prudent you will have to detail the current subscriber’s breach of the contract, which no doubt starts with failing to provide proof of insurance.
