Contract sale started

The 2023 annual contract sale has started and runs through January 13, 2023. If you wait until the last day you’re going to wait weeks for the contracts to be prepared and delivered to you. That’s why I’ve given the early notice this year. Buy today, pay with this year’s money, and avoid the delay once the sale hits full swing. The sale discounts specific contracts specific amounts and also offers a discount on all other contract forms. See details below or call our Contract Administrator Eileen Wagda at 516 747 6700 x 312.

Do you check your invoices before paying them

How many dealers actually read and understand their invoices they get for services?
Do they just pay them?

While this may seem like a rhetorical question [not really one that gets an answer] or a comical question because who doesn’t check their bills? Well, the list goes on and on. For many, maybe most, the truth is you never check a bill because you have others checking it for you. Only problem with that is it’s not their money and they’re not as vested as you are in being careful, diligent and thrifty.
How many pages is your central station invoice; a lot more than you want to read. Same for lots of other invoices you get.
But I’d like to suggest more than just looking at your bills carefully; how about trying to reduce those bills. Are you getting the best pricing that’s available from your vendors and suppliers? Sounds like a simple question but you may not have asked yourself that in a while, and may not have asked your vendor or supplier in a while either. They may be willing to reduce expenses and give discounts.
A few weeks ago I contacted by internet provider who also provides TV and phone services. The service rep reduced a $300 RMR to $100 with no change in service. So I asked about another account I had for different location and she lobbed off $30 RMR for that account. I passed her along to several of my employees who simply asked for a review and reduction; they got $30, $50 and other amounts; all of them who asked. Who knew?
Just don’t ask for reduction in legal fees – they are low enough. Happy and health new year to all of you and please take advantage of the contract sale. Don’t worry, if you order more than once for the same contracts we will know and we won’t process your mistakes. Least we can do.
