Ken
          It's NOT Brinks, it's the alarm.com !!!
AT&T had their own way of recording 480 or 720  max  resolution (And their own platform, if I'm correct) maybe unlimited maybe not....
Not defending anyone here,  as I understand, Alarm.com  dictates what you get and what you don't, just like ALL the dealers around that use Alarm.com  service, no difference, and Brinks uses alarm.com.
Alarm.com dictates quota and all dealers including Brinks just adopt it, you really have no choice and have no say, either you take it or don't.
Other option is to just install DVR or what they call SVR and it will record non-stop, simple.
For many this is perfectly ok; for many as well they are coursing this out because of the clip limitation; take your pick LOL.
But yes, cameras can be adjusted for sensitivity and object size  and duration of activity before the clip is registered/recorded and deducted from whatever quota you have, especially the newer models that have been out already for few years are much better cameras and are more accurate.
Most likely if the problem started from beginning this wasn't setup properly by installing tech, or in time, garbage gathered around  and spiderwebs etc are triggering recording with wind blow.
