Ken, your columns have probably saved alarm dealers millions of dollars. I know it’s a great marketing tool for your company but more a tremendous tool for the entire industry. Kudos to you and your staff. And your joke, your honor, is applicable to our current governor so thanks for the one liner 😊. With Warmest Regards, Steven Daniel Leonardo Director of Operations Electronix Systems Central Station Alarms Incorporated Office: 631 271-4000 ********************* E&O application ********************* Ken We use your alarm contracts and see from the blogs that you recommend Security America for General Liability and E and O insurance. We got a quote from them and they want us to fill out a form saying we couldn’t find comparable insurance in New York State or an insurer authorized in New York State. Looks like they have offices in Vermont and in Dallas, TX. Would it be OK to bind this insurance and sign the form saying we couldn’t find comparable insurance in New York State? Thanks Dave ********************** Response ********************** You can sign that application. You can certainly find other carriers who offer alarm industry general liability with errors and omission, but they aren’t alarm industry owned like Security America. Security America started as a Risk Retention Group and now it’s a Purchasing Group [I’m not sure what difference that makes]. You can find insurance options on The Alarm Exchange in the Insurance category and you can rely on the expertise of the listed brokers. *********************** To order up to dateStandard Form Alarm / Security / Fire and related Agreements, click here: www.alarmcontracts.com ************************* CONCIERGE LAWYER SERVICE PROGRAM FOR THE ALARM INDUSTRY You can check out the program and sign up here: https://www.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/concierge or contact our Program Coordinator Stacy Spector, Esq at 516 747 6700 x 304. *********************** NOTICE: You can always read our Articles on our website at ww.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/alarm-articles *********************** THE ALARM EXCHANGE
