    I'd like to respond to HSS and Linked24
    Thank you for the opportunity to present our new RMR opportunity in your
original post of June 5.  The response to it from your readers was awesome.
    First let me address HSS's comment:
"There are many free apps which don't cost anything to use them, all you
have to type in the app search is: friend stream, gps track or tracker etc
etc, many are free with no monthly fees etc,"
    True there are many apps that will track a smart phones GPS history and
present location, no one has ProActiveGPS.  We are the only solution that
allows for a scheduled alert if a device is NOT at a location in a defined
time such as a child did not get to school between 8:15 and 8:45 Monday
through Friday.  No other system can tell you a negative return, your
daughter did not get to school within 30 minutes of her regular time. From
the conversations we have had with your readers, they too feel this is a
huge benefit to their customers.
    As a quick recap of the Linked24 functions:
1) ProActiveGPS - Linked24 analyzes uploaded GPS coordinates for
pre-determined Presence or Non-Presence of scheduled parameters.
2) Emergency Shake - If the app on phone is active (not running in the back
ground) user can shake or drop the phone and the app will record 10 seconds
of audio and video and upload with the GPS location to Linked24 for
emergency notifications.
    We have not been able to get to everyone who contact us so the following are the most common questions we received:
- Can the user stop the app? Yes on iPhone, no on Android.  
Users are unlikely to stop the App because of the social nature of the
system, young adults like to share when they are at a common location with
their friends.
- If the phone can not reach a network, can it still send information? - No
- Is there a commercial version. Yes, because of feed back.
- Can a dealer turn off a customer if they do not pay the dealer? Yes,
currently developing dealer portal for managing accounts.
- Does Linked24 enforce a term on the end user?  No, it is the dealers'
customer; dealer makes the rules for their customers. Dealer pays Linked24
for their accounts, dealer receives income from the customer.
- Linked24 charges $0.85 per month per account. Up to 6 phones per account.
- Do we provide the email addresses of the dealers' viral customer base? No,
we have to respect people's privacy.
- Are you going to incorporate to central stations? Yes, the Emergency Shake
feature only and to selected receivers or via SMTP.

    Alarm is a notification device. People with some common sense look for signs of smoke, fire, listen to sounds of burglary and when none of these signs
are present, silence the siren and reset or disarm the alarm to do further
investigation. Other people jump out of window. What does she do when the
alarm clock sounds?
