CLORISSA VIVIAN WINTERS, Esq. is an associate attorney of Kirschenbaum and Kirschenbaum, P.C. in the Healthcare, Corporate Law, Employment and Probate/Estate Departments. Ms. Winters represents and guides clients through a wide array of transactional matters including those related to business formation, separation, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, employment and third party healthcare provider audit defense. Ms. Winters specializes in employment agreements and equity issuances for K&K's Private Equity backed platform clients and individual provider clients. Ms. Winters has significant experience with probate and estate planning matters.
Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Winters assisted in estate planning, drafting wills, trusts, Halachic documents and related documents for high net worth individuals. During law school, Ms. Winters interned with a boutique tax law firm, assisting in matters related to state, federal and foreign tax law, focusing primarily on IRS audit defense and penalty abatement. Through her prior experience, Ms. Winters developed a meticulous attention to detail and a creative and innovative approach to problem solving.
Ms. Winters graduated Magna Cum Laude from Queens College City University of New York, where she triple majored in Psychology, Philosophy and Political Science. Following undergraduate school, she earned an academic based full scholarship to Cardozo Law where she graduated with a dual concentration in Business Law and Tax Law.
