Ken,

Many thanks for you newsletter. You provide a valuable service on the Napco I See Contract, does it include recurring revenue provisions like the standard burglar alarm contract? (i.e. 3 year terms, renewal provisions, etc.)

Thanks for you kind reply.

Yes. All of the Standard Alarm Contracts [except the Sales Contract] provide for Recurring Monthly Revenue. That's what this business is all about and the Standard Contracts were developed to keep pace with developing technology and new opportunities to provide additional services. The I See Video Contract was designed specifically for the Napco I See Video product, one of the first to offer recurring revenue by providing the subscriber direct access to cameras through Internet connected devices. Data passes through Napco's servers. For more information on the Napco product click here http://www.napcosecurity.com/video.html

The Remote Video Monitoring Contract is a generic form of the I See Video Contract.

Also consider the Subscriber Enabled Monitoring Service Contract. That contract is not only for direct subscriber access to video cameras, but audio, and remote arm and disarm feature. No central station monitoring is included in that contract, so if the Subscriber wants central station monitoring as well then use the Monitoring Contract to cover that service; be sure to charge separately for the central station monitoring and the Subscriber Enabled Monitoring Services.
