Recently I had a wonderful experience using the information listed on The Alarm Exchange. I needed to design a Fire Alarm system and create a submittal package in a hurry. I made several calls to different firms listed, usually leaving messages. However James Clark of Best Fire Alarm Design answered when I called and quickly agreed on the cost and time frame which was within days. He delivered with an extremely quick turn around and did an excellent job !! Then immediately prior to submitting my package I found out the address had to change and it was done within minutes of notifying them. I manage the listings on The Alarm Exchange almost daily, as requests come in, and rarely hear from anyone once the listing is posted. I think, without much verification, that The Alarm Exchange is the most comprehensive, complete, up to date, classifieds in the alarm/fire/security/integration/camera/access control industries. I am fairly certain that The Alarm Exchange has the widest distribution, in excess of 20,000 people in the alarm industry, over 10,000 security/fire/camera/access control companies. Those with stale listings should let me know so they can be removed. Companies that have been hesitant to post should reconsider; the listings work in all categories. Listing on The Alarm Exchange is free [vendors need to post reciprocal links on their website to the K&K website. I do want to mention a personal experience I have with The Alarm Exchange and the daily email articles. K&K will broker alarm deals when we are also counsel to the seller, and when I list accounts for sale on The Alarm Exchange and circulate an article I can see the results immediately; numerous responses inquiring about the listing. I am not aware of a more effective sale effort in the industry. And as far as results, just about every listing on The Alarm Exchange in the Merger and Acquisition category get done quickly, efficiently and without after-sale disputes; the real measure of a successful transaction.
