Ken,
Is the All-In-One Agreement still the best option for companies whose primary services are video system installations, service and/or maintenance or service agreements?
Thanks for all you do.

First of all, thanks for being my number one fan and thanks for the question.
The All in One agreement [either Residential or Commercial] provides for cameras, as well as other security products and services. While these contracts may have provisions that you may not offer, it's a good idea to have a contract that does offer those items of services. You should be using the Disclaimer Notice on all sales and that provision requires the subscriber to acknowledge that you have offered additional equipment and services that the subscriber has declined to purchase. The All In Ones also has a provision to that effect, so it's important to show that you do in fact offer other security or fire services.
Now I know you may say, but we don't offer these services [guard response is a good example]. My answer to every client who calls on this issue is, "but you will offer the service, get someone else to provide it, if the subscriber wants to pay enough for the service". They always answer, "sure". And why not. You don't offer guard response, or a wireless doorbell, or hard wire smoke detectors? Well if your subscriber insists on that service and is willing to pay what you want to provide it, go for it.
The All in One Agreements are simply the most comprehensive contracts available in the alarm / fire / security industry. They are also used by more companies than any other form, by far. It makes sense that you use the most recognized forms for your business. The list of Standard Form Agreements is quite extensive and continues to grow as our clients ask for different forms.
Thanks again, to you and all our clients for participating on this forum.
